Eco-Culture
The Future is a by-product of our purchasing decision.
Many furniture are made according to a set of assumptions that hark back to the first Industrial Revolution, when natural resources were abundant and labor was the limiting factor of production. Now, in contrast, we are faced with a surplus of people, while natural resources are in decline, costly and often irreplaceable. This model results in natural resources being turned into unordered, useless industrial material that no longer fits within its parent ecosystem and consequently accumulates in nature.
This brochure aims to provide you with an alternative inspiration to your home décor, and confidence to start creating a more sustainable environment, with stylish products that enhances your life and that have a small environmental footprint.
…and please remember, every time you make a purchasing decision, you make the future.

- How is cardboard made?
Cardboard is made of three layers of heavy paper but it is the construction that gives it its strength. Two flat layers are used either side of a fluted or corrugated layer. The fluted layer is bonded to the others creating far greater strength than many flat layers together.
- What happens when you recycle cardboard?
Corrugated cardboard is pulped and blended with new pulp from wood chips. The pulp is screened, rolled and dried into two types of cardboard called medium (the inner layer) and linerboard (the smooth outer layers). Both are sold to a box-board plant to be formed into new corrugated cardboard.
- What products are made from recycled materials?
Manufactures "medium": the ribbed inner layer of corrugated cardboard. Manufactures "linerboard": the outer layer of corrugated cardboard and brown paper bags.
- How much energy is saved by recycling?
In comparison with processing one ton of corrugated cardboard from fresh pulp, recycling one ton of cardboard saves
- Approximately 13 Trees
- 2.5 Barrels of Oil
- 4100 KWH of Electricity
- 4 Cubic Meters of Landfill
- 31,780 Litres of Water
